Big Mac Sauce

For ages, this sauce was a secret recipe, and the missing ingredient to making Big Macs at home; well no more: Now you can bask in the glory of a home made Big Mac, and unlike MaccyDees, you can have two bits of cheese in yours!

 

Big Mac Sauce

Prep Time 5 minutes
Servings 4 Burgers

Ingredients

  • 5 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp American mild yellow mustard
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped pickled dill cucumber (approx. ¼ of a large pickle)
  • 2 tsp pickle “juice” or white wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 pinch white sugar

Instructions

  1. Stir all the ingredients, except the sugar, together thoroughly.

  2. Add a pinch of white sugar to taste

Build your burgers in the following order:

  • Top Bun
  • Burger
  • Cheese
  • Iceberg lettuce
  • Chopped onion
  • Sauce
  • Club (middle bit of bread)
  • Burger
  • Cheese
  • Iceberg lettuce
  • Chopped onion
  • Sauce
  • Bottom bun
