Spicy Red Pepper Burger Relish

Sometimes a burger needs to be accompanied by something fresh and clean, with a crisp texture, to help cut through the richness of the patty. This salsa does just that. Tasty, fresh and low fat too!


Spicy red pepper burger relish

Prep Time 10 minutes
Servings 4 people


  • 100 g roasted red peppers in brine
  • 1 small red onion
  • 1 tsp capers
  • 2 tbsp fresh coriander
  • 1 tbsp fat-free vinaigrette
  • ½ red chilli
  • 1 grind fresh black pepper
  • 1 pinch sea salt


  1. Drain and finely chop the peppers.

  2. Finely chop the onion.

  3. Rinse the capers.

  4. Finely chop the coriander.

  5. Finely chop the chilli.

  6. Mix all the ingredients together and season to taste. (Add more chilli if you like a bit more heat).
